Timed Out in Cricket | Timed Out Angelo Mathews in World Cup 2023

Mathews was  unhappy with the strap on his helmet and not ready to face first delivery. Icc Men's Cricket World Cup 2023  38th match was playing Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka on 06 November 2023 at Arun Jaitley Stedium in Delhi 

Sri Lanka's Batsman Angelo Mathews was time out 

In first time International Cricket history During the world Cup match clash against Bangladesh in Dehli. Actually Angelo Mathews was ready to face the ball but his helmet's strap was broken so he being to change the helmet and time was over, Shakib Al Hasan appeal to the umpire for time out.

What is the timed Out Rule? 

"After the fall of a wicket or the retirement of a batter, the incoming batter must, unless Time has been called, be ready to receive the ball or for the other batter to be ready to receive the next ball within 2 minutes of the dismissal or retirement.”

ICC ke Rule and conditions ke  anusar Agar koi bhi batsman out ho Jane ke bad next new  batsman Jo strike pe hai 2 minutes ke ander Ready hoke  ball ko face nhi karta ho usey Dismissal or retirement kar diye jata hai.
